Red elm, also known as slippery elm, is a large and fast-growing tree that can grow up to one metre per year and reach heights of up to 35 metres. The bark of mature elm trees is deeply fissured and has a grey-brown outer layer.
Elm is widespread across large parts of Northern and Central Europe and is also found in mountainous regions of Asia. For centuries, it was a common forest tree in Denmark, but today it has almost disappeared due to Dutch elm disease.

Mucous Membranes of the Digestive Tract - The entire digestive tract from the mouth and oesophagus through to the stomach and intestinal system, including the small intestine, large intestine and rectum is lined with mucous membranes.
These membranes consist of layers of cells that produce mucus and help form part of the body’s defence barrier against external microorganisms.
Slippery elm bark is a natural source of mucilage, which helps support the mucous membranes of the digestive tract.
Directions for Use
1 capsule daily, taken with a meal.
Ingredients
Red elm bark (Ulmus rubra).
Vegetable capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (plant-based).
Bulking agent: brown rice concentrate.
Mandatory Information
