Milky Oolong er en gylden te, der tydeligvis er i familie med de grønne teer, men den er mere sød i smagen. En traditionel kinesisk te med flotte lange mørke blade. Milky oolong har blød og rund smag med en tydelig note af mælk , teen har dog intet med mælk at gøre.
Oolong er en semi-oxideret te.
Bladene har i forarbejdningen kortvarigt påbegyndt en oxideringsproces, som er blevet afbrudt ved tørring for at bevare den grønne tees egenskaber og lyse farve. Bladene oxiderer i solen, hvilket fremkalder en indtagende smagsoplevelse. Oolong-teerne er altid hele blade og stammer hovedsagligt fra Taiwan og Kina.
